Summer Skin Tips

01. INTERNAL HYDRATION

Healthy, glowing skin starts from within. With the extra heat and sun, it's important we are replenishing lost minerals and electrolytes. First thing in the morning I love having a a litre of fresh lemon water with a pinch of celtic salt and added minerals (Aussie Minerals). After an extra hot day outdoors or a sauna session I love LMNT electrolytes  for additional support. Lots of juicy fruit, green juice and mineral infusions throughout the day.

02. PROTECTION

Getting enough sun and vitamin D is extremely beneficial for our overall health. Practicing safe sun exposure is key. Getting around 30 minutes of mid day sun at least a few times a week or more is ideal. Non-nano zinc sunscreen for the face is my favourite along with a hat. I don't love or use sunscreen on my body and instead use the body oil  for a little natural SPF and glow.

03. SKIN CARE - MANUKA HONEY & ALOE

After a long day in the sun our skin can feel dehydrated and sensitive. A Manuka honey mask is soothing, hydrating and can help repair and regenerate skin. Aloe Vera very beneficial in healing burns and preventing peeling. Follow up with the face mist that contains both Aloe Vera and Manuka honey as well as the face oil which also contains Manuka honey.
