Lymphatic System

Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues, vessels and organs that move a fluid called lymph around the body. It rids our bodies of toxins and unwanted waste material via lymph and functions as part of our immune system. Unlike the circulatory system, lymph doesn’t pump or move on its own, and relies on the movement of our bodies and also our breath. If you’re feeling puffy, stiff, sore, notice any changes to your skin or immune system, taking special care of your lymphatic system might do the trick.

Here are some ways that we can support our lymphatic system.

  1. Walking and exercise

  2. Dry brushing

  3. Massage

  4. Using non-toxic skincare and cleaning products

  5. Hot + Cold Showers

  6. Breathwork

  7. Rebounding

  8. Drinking lots of water

  9. Gua Sha
