01. DAILY MATCHA RITUAL
A healthy, radiant complexion begins from within and what we choose to consume on a daily basis has a direct impact on our skin. Matcha contains caffeine but it also contains the amino acid L-theanine which helps give a more even and calm caffeine boost compared to coffee. This makes it a superior choice for our hormones and stress, It also contains high amounts of ECGC, antioxidants and chlorophyll which all contribute to a healthy, radiant glow.
02. MINERAL INFUSION
This is my favourite herbal infusion that I've drinking for a number of years now. I think of it as a skincare supplement but the high amount of minerals is incredible for all functions of the body. Due to our depleted soil and the minerals that are lacking in our food, this tonic is beneficial for everyone.
Recipe:
¼ cup dried nettles
¼ cup dried horsetail
1 L of filtered or spring water
Method:
Add the herbs to a mason jar and cover with boiling water. Allow the infusion to steep for at least 8 hours, strain and refrigerate. Consume over the next couple of days. I like adding a squeeze of lemon and dash of maple syrup for an iced herbal lemonade.
03. Beauty Jellies
A yummy treat that is full of gelatin + Vitamin C. A great addition to your diet as it helps with collagen production especially as we age. Amazing for skin and joint health.
